Rick turned 27 this past Sunday! We had a pretty low key morning- he slept in while I made some waffles with strawberries and buttermilk candy syrup, and of course some cheesecake too. Then we just hung out until church which starts for us around 11:30. That night we had a suprise party for Rick at Jessica's house. Jessica made a crazy little cake and old roomates and friends came to spend some time with Rick. It was reallllly hot but still fun. The best thing was that Kasey Paysinger and his girlfriend came and Rick hasn't seen them for two years!! Rick's cake had lots of candles on it and he only had the strength to blow out 26 of them... better luck next year!
