One of the things Rick misses most about California is surfing. It was so nice for him to have surf sessions as a relaxing workout... He would come home from the beach tired but feeling great... I think "enlightened" was the word he would often use to describe his mood. Contrast that with the "I hate running" I hear from him most days after a quick jog. Since there are no waves here in Boulder we have the next best thing... A coat rack made from his first surf board. Rick's brother Nick is the creator of this masterpiece. Isn't it quirky and fun? You almost don't want to hang anything on it because it is so amazing.

New Bedding?
Our bedding is slowly but surely getting destroyed:( This is very sad because I love our super cute old bedding, but I must admit it was poor quality. What a shame. On a happy note, this means I can now start searching for a new look. Here are some ideas I've come up with so far:
Ditsy Pennants
Floral Lace
Corner Bloom Ruffle
Waterfall Ruffle
All the above from Urban Outfitters
Obviously, I can't decide between fun and colorful (like our old one) or delicate and ruffly...
And one must also consider possible pillows:
Pink Fan Ruffles

Green and Yellow Roses Pillow

Felt Roses Pillows

Rust Ruffles Pillow

All the above from Pier 1
I'm in the early stages of bedding shopping and I still don't really know what I'm looking for...
Any suggestions? Where is your bedding from and do you love it?

dear neighbors
Please don't live in an apartment complex if you own dogs but have no time to stay home with them. Constantly barking by the door ALL DAY LONG is not fair to the dog. Your dog belongs in a place with a yard where it can run around and with an owner who has time to play.
Please don't smoke weed (even if it is currently legal in Colorado) all day everyday. As we all share indoor heating this smell becomes very potent in the apartment above you (us). Perhaps this explains why Adelaide has always been so giggly.
Thank you, that is all.
